Install TakoDown and open it once first; the extension then connects on its own.
Chrome, Edge and other Chromium browsers
Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi and more, version 116 or later.

Download the zip file and unzip it.

Open chrome://extensions (edge://extensions in Edge) and turn on Developer mode.

Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder.
A Chrome Web Store listing is on its way.
Firefox
Firefox 128 or later, and LibreWolf, Waterfox and Zen.
Download for Firefox (.zip)- 1
Open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox.

Click Load Temporary Add-on… and choose the downloaded zip file.

Open the extension and allow it to access websites, so it can pass cookies along.
Firefox removes temporary add-ons when it restarts, so load it again after a restart. A Firefox Add-ons listing is on its way.
